Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and we are opening the ballroom for it. On Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026, Silver Shores is offering one all-inclusive price for a Halloween wedding reception or a Halloween party on the Detroit River.
What the Halloween special includes
The Halloween special is $7,500 all-inclusive for 100 guests. That covers:
- Ballroom rental for a five-and-a-half-hour reception
- A five-hour full open bar with custom themed cocktails
- A buffet-style dinner from our own kitchen
- A dessert table
- Floor-length white linen and colored linen napkins
- A DJ and a photo booth by Unique Entertainment
- Staff and a bartender for the event
A wedding or a party
The same package works either way. For a Halloween wedding, a ceremony can be added for $800, so the vows and the reception happen in one place. For a party, it suits a costume night, a milestone birthday that happens to land on Halloween weekend, or a company event that wants something more memorable than a conference room.
Why the ballroom suits Halloween
The ballroom is climate-controlled and seats up to 150 with a dance floor, so late-October weather is not part of the plan. After dark the river is right outside the glass, with the lights of the far shore across the water. Themed cocktails at the bar and a photo booth running all night do the rest.
Two dates, one celebration each
We host one event per day, which means this offer covers two evenings in total: Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026. The price applies to those two event dates only.
